All Purpose Spreader Company

The All Purpose Spreader Company, founded in Elyria, Ohio, used the APSCO acronym as its trade name. It was in business as early as 1945, and a year later was producing a rubber-tired spreader box called the All-Purpose Spreader. APSCO built the first rubber-tired asphalt paver, and was acquired by Blaw-Knox Company in 1954.[1]
