Caterpillar 24H Motor Grader

The Caterpillar 24H motor grader was introduced in 1996. It was manufactured in the USA only.

The 24H has a 3412 hydraulic/electric unit injector (HEUI) engine. It has a six speeds forward, three reverse powershift transmission. It comes standard with a lock-up clutch torque converter, PPPC hydraulic system and a 24-foot (7.3 m) moldboard.

The 24H was given a 7KK serial number prefix.

In 2006 Caterpillar modified the circle pinion to increase its life, beginning with 7KK00301.
