The Caterpillar 302.5C mini excavator was introduced in 2005 as the replacement for the Caterpillar 302.5. It was manufactured in England only.

The 302.5C has a Mitsubishi S3L2 naturally aspirated, water-cooled, three-cylinder diesel engine. It is available with rubber or steel tracks.

The 302.5C was given a GBB serial number prefix.
