The 345C has a Cat C13, air-to-air after-cooled engine producing 327 or 352 horsepower (HP).
The 345C was manufactured in the USA, with a TAJ, PJW, TDG, ESD, or M2R serial number prefix; in Japan, with a BWY, JAR, MDC, WDE, DHP, GBH, TBA, or RFN prefix; and in Belgium, with a ELS, GCL, GPH, LYS, SPC, or FPC prefix.
The ELS, LYS, BWY, JAR, DHP, GBH, TBA, TAJ, and PJW units have a fixed lower structure. The ELS, LYS, BWY, and JAR units also have a heavy-duty upper frame.
The GCL, GPH, FPC, WDE, RFN, and TDG units have a variable lower structure. The GCL, GPH, WDE, and RFN units also have a heavy-duty upper frame.
The SPC, EDS, and M2R units have a wide lower frame.
