The Caterpillar 935B crawler loader was introduced in 1987. It was manufactured in Japan only.

The 935B has a 3204 four-cylinder engine producing 75 flywheel horsepower (FWHP). It has a powershift transmission with an electric start. It comes standard with pedal steer, sealed loader linkage, sealed and lubricated tracks (SALT), and 56-inch (142 cm) track gauge.

The 935B was given a 3DF serial number prefix.

Production of 935B ended in 1987; it was replaced by the Caterpillar 935C.

Based on data from the sales database of Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers, it is estimated that more than 200 Caterpillar 935B crawler loaders have been produced.
