Chicago Testing Laboratory Inc. (CTL) provides quality control and quality assurance for asphalt materials, liquids, aggregates, concrete, and soils. It also provides consulting for the geotechnical, environmental and construction materials engineering industries.
CTL designs proprietary and custom asphalt mixes for a wide variety of projects, from “superhighways to supermarkets.”[1] It also offers testing, inspection, training, consulting, and research capabilities.
The company was founded in 1912.
It currently has three locations in Illinois and one in Indiana.
