Conveyor Equipment Manufacturers Association
From RitchieWiki
The Conveyor Equipment Manufacturers Association (CEMA) represents North American manufacturers and designers of conveyor equipment systems and accessories.
Its purpose is to promote, among its members and the industry, the standardization of design and manufacturing techniques while not impeding development or diminishing competition. Membership is voluntary.
CEMA produces a number of industry-specific publications as well as providing technical data and detailed safety information. It also collects industry statistics and addresses any issues of concern to members, such as conveyor safety.
There are currently 95 manufacturing members and 10 technical members that represent six different product sections: conveyor chain, conveyor controls, general bulk handling, palletizer, screw conveyor, and unit handling conveying.[1]
