Differential Steering
From RitchieWiki
Differential steering, also known as skid steering, is the process by which tanks and wheelchairs turn. It is characterized by having two wheels or tracks on either side of a vehicle that rotate at different speeds to change vehicle direction. This allows the vehicle operator to complete a full rotation on the spot.[1][2]
Differential steering has applications for industry through mowers, crawler tractors, skid steer loaders, crawler loaders, and dozers.
