The John Deere 110 TLB loader backhoe has a Yanmar TNV88 direct injection, four-cylinder diesel engine producing 43 horsepower (HP). It is a construction style loader with low-angle boom arms manufactured from high-strength low-alloy steel. It comes standard with custom-designed valves for more precise operation and feathering, a power curve boom designed for deep digging, standard skid steer mounting plates that allow for front attachments, and a four-post rollover protection system and falling object protective structure.

It also has a couple of optional features, including auxiliary hydraulic functions and a quick coupler for backhoe buckets.

The backhoe can also detach to allow for regular tractor implements, but requires a three-point hitch and rear power take-off.

The 110 TLB won the 2003 Agricultural Engineering AE50 Award and was featured in Construction Equipment Magazine’s Top 100 New Products of 2002.
