Milling

Milling is the process of crushing and grinding material into a fine substance. In mining, ore extracted from an underground mine or an open-pit mine is crushed and ground up into a fine paste in a mill located close to the mine site. Gold and uranium are two minerals that typically undergo the milling process.[1]
