The Pel-Job Group, established 1978, was a French manufacturer of compact excavators. They were the first supplier of compact excavators in Europe.[1] Pel-Job was acquired by Volvo Construction Equipment on December 7, 1995.[2]
On January 20, 2000, Volvo officially phased out the Pel-Job brand name in part of an effort to revitalize the Volvo brand. The Pel-Job EB150 became known as the Volvo EC15; the EB200 became the Volvo EC20, and so on.[3]
