Water Trucks have definitely come a long way over the time with plastic or polyethylene tanks, automatic transmission and much more.

Water trucks have come a long way. This is due to a number of developments such as improved truck mechanics, better tyres & traction, simpler & cleaner engines and technologically improved materials for water cartage tanks. Water Carts Direct have choosen polyethylene tanks to mount on their water trucks and have even taken the hard work out of driving them by offering automatic transmissions in their quality water trucks, both for hire and sale.

Whomever wrote this is really confused about what a water truck is and/or does. Somehow they have muddled hydro surface mining and the water truck. probably needs to delete and start over.
