A transfer set consists of a dump truck with a pup trailer. The box on the truck has a set of rails inside so the box of the pup trailer can be pulled inside the the truck box. The trailer can be disconnected while the material is dumped from the truck box, then reconnected so that the trailer box can be pulled inside the truck box, allowing the trailer load to be dumped.
