(Redirected from wrecking bars)

A wrecking bar is heavy-duty metal bar with a 12- to 36-inch (30- to 91-cm) long shaft used in demolition.[1] Also called a pry bar, pinch bar, crow bar, or ripping bar, it features a flat metal claw on one end for tearing up wooden material and structures and a V-shaped notch on the opposite end for pulling out large nails.
