Aggregate

Aggregate is a mass of individual coarse particles used for construction. This particulate can be made up of any mixture of sand, gravel, crushed stone, soil, marble, gravel, or recycled asphalt.

Aggregate is usually mixed with a bituminous material to form concrete, but it can also be used alone as a base material for foundations, roads, and railroads.
